*** Genesis 2:18-23 "The Lord God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." WE CREATE A SAFE ROOM FOR OUR MARRIAGE TO THRIVE:

1. BY BUILDING ON GOD’S WORD!

*** Psalm 119:9 "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word." [NIV]

2. BY MAKING OUR MARRIAGE OUR PRIORITY!
*** Genesis 2:24a "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother..." [NIV]

NEXT TO GOD, YOUR SPOUSE IS YOUR PRIMARY PRIORITY!

SECURITY IS WHAT A SAFE ROOM IS ALL ABOUT!

*** Eph. 5:24-25 "Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her..."[NIV]

"Am I willing to adjust my relational priorities?"

3. BY HOLDING ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT!

SAFETY IS WHAT A SAFE ROOM IS ALL ABOUT!

"Am I really committed to this marriage no matter what?"

4. BY ESTABLISHING A PARTNERSHIP OF TRUST!

5. BY BEING TOTALLY OPEN AND HONEST!
