JESUS UNCENSORED!
THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH!

*** John 6:35 “Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” [NIV]

*** John 8:12 “Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

*** John 13:1 “It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.” [NIV]

*** John 13:33-35 “My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." [New International Version]

*** John 14:1-6 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?" Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” [NIV]

1. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE WAY – FOLLOW JESUS!

I WANT TO KNOW:

A. THE WAY TO GET THE MOST OUT OF LIFE!
*** John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.” [New American Standard Version]
*** John 12:26 “All those who want to be my disciples must come and follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And if they follow me, the Father will honor them.” [New Living Translation]

B. THE WAY TO KNOW & BE KNOWN TO GOD!
*** John 14:6-9 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” [NIV]

NO JESUS – NO GOD! KNOW JESUS – KNOW GOD!

*** John 14:23 “Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.” [NIV]

C. THE WAY TO HEAVEN!
*** John 14:3-4 “…if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." [NIV] CONTEXT…we all want to know about what then…!

2. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH – LOOK AT JESUS!

IF TRUTH IS RELATIVE THEN…

A. ALL SPIRITUAL TRUTH IS VALID!

B. PERSUASION IS NOT ALLOWED – TOLERANCE IS KING!

C. THERE ARE NO MORAL ABSOLUTES!

IF YOU SAY THAT TRUTH IS RELATIVE, THAT ITSELF IS AN ABSOLUTE TRUTH!

THE ISSUE ISN’T A BELIEF IN ABSOLUTE TRUTH IT IS IN THE
ACCEPTANCE OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH!

*** John 1:14 “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” [NIV]

*** John 18:37 “Jesus said.”I…came to bring truth to the world. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true." [New Living Translation]

3. IF YOU WANT ETERNAL LIFE – COME TO JESUS!

*** John 14:6 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” [NIV]

*** John 11:25 “Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies…!” [NIV]

*** John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

***John 6:37 “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.” [NIV]

*** John 20:31 “These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” [NIV]
