"Is Having An Affair"

Introduction:

A. There are no "reasons" for having an affair!

Proverbs 19:3 - "People ruin their lives by their own foolishness" (NLT)

James 1:14 – "Temptation comes from the lure of our own evil desires. These desires lead to evil actions." (NLT)

B. There is a national epidemic with it!

C. The Bible takes a very dim view of it!

Leviticus 20:10 – "If any of you have sex with another person’s spouse, both of you will be put to death." (CEV)

1 Corinthians 6:10 – "Those who indulge in sexual sin, idol worship, adultery, prostitution, or homosexuality – will not share in the Kingdom of God." (NLT)

D. What should we do about it?

 

I. KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE C________ (James 1:13-16a)
