Volunteers with
our Pastoral Care Ministry care for the needs of our church family by:
Hospital visitation--visiting
people in the hospital and/or nursing home;
Homebound visitation--visiting,
running errands, providing transportation and/or arranging meals with
the Meals Ministry;
Bereavement Care--assisting
people who have recently lost a loved one by establishing a connection
and offering any practical help and encouragement needed;
Care Callers--calling and
sending cards to those who just need someone to listen to them and give
them encouragement; and
Emergency Care--answering the
emergency pager and providing a timely response to crises and/or
immediate contact with the "Pastor of the Week," if necessary or
requested.
