The Messiah’s ministry of preaching and healing – to meet every human need.

S.O.N. Ministries (Serving Our Neighbors)

S.O.N. Ministries (Serving Our Neighbors)

Project Description: A service and outreach ministry whose purpose is to witness to people through our actions! Our goal is to touch people's lives so that they realize that JESUS CHRIST is the one and only solution to living life.

All of our ministries are independently led. However, our ministry leaders complement each other by rendering guidance, assistance and resources to each other which help in planning, organization and the implementation of our projects.

Training our leaders in an on-going process throughout the year. We use internal and external agencies to conduct the training sessions. The training is geared towards enhancing our leadership team's spiritual growth, confidence along with organizational and operational effectiveness.

We dedicate our lives to loving people and bringing them to JESUS CHRIST, our LORD and SAVIOR, by fulfillment of the Great Commission through our service and outreach programs!

"Dios desea usarlo A Usted"
Jewish Outreach Ministry

In the book of Romans, the apostle Paul sought to explain the relationship between Jew and Gentile in God's overall plan of redemption.

God urges us to proclaim our faith and the power of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior with our Jewish brothers and sisters.

"I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I make much of my ministry in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?"
Romans 11:13-15 NIV

Consideration

There are approximately 90,000 -100,000 Jewish people within the Phoenix metropolitan area which represents about 2% of the overall population.

The vast majority of us have little to no interaction with Jewish people each day. For some of us, interaction with the Jewish community is a way of life!

A growing percentage of Jewish adults marry outside their faith which often times makes it difficult for families to identify with either the Christian or Jewish faiths.

If you are married to a Jewish man or woman or have friends or associates who are Jewish, you may wish to visit the following webpages. The information may help you in your outreach of faith!

Learn about Jewish Holidays - http://www.aish.com/holidays/

“For HE HIMSELF is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in HIS flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. HIS purpose was to create in HIMSELF one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to GOD through the cross, by which HE put to death their hostility.” - Ephesians 2:14-16 NIV

If you would like to talk to some of our congregation members about their personal outreach to Jewish family, friends and business associates, please feel free to call the Church Office and we will get you in contact with them. They are glad to share with you their testimonials!

Principles to Outreach

When we outreach to others, remember that it is all about relationships and love!
First seek to understand than to be understood!
